im gettin down to a bit of "Hipakusha" at the moment. a bit of grooving for a thursday morning, jo and i went and saw them last friday night in the valley for their cd launch. ohhhhhh gawd, gotta love a big shake down. nothing makes me feel more joyous than when you have a room full of happy beautiful people dancing their asses off to funky reggae beats. must admit though the cd definitely doesnt compare to their live performance, but i think thats pretty expected for a band like this really. people in brisbane check them out when you can ja ja.
im sad i lost the posters karen and i were stealing from around the valley on saturday night with our new friend for the night guy. i think guy took them. gah! i knew thats what he wanted the whole time. i love meeting randoms. we hung with him for the night, celebrating his birthday hahaha. what a cool cat, such a friendly hippy sort. the kind any person is immediately drawn to cause they are just radiating this attracting aura. i love seeing people like that.
ahhhhhhhhh i have to lead a discussion for my legal issues subject this afternoon. im soo ill prepared. i have no idea what im saying, mainly cause... its legal stuff. i cant wrap my head around it, i dont want to, it bores me to tears.
what should i do this weekend? i dont know, weeks go soo fast now. i love weekends. such a release. dinner for jos birthday with imi and dana. sounds delightful. need something more though?
im seeing smog tonight!!!!!!! ahhhhh cant wait. itll be just brilliant i think. joanna newsome too. but she kind of makes me ears hurt, respect is soo very totally there though and she'll be amazing to see. im really excited! im going alone, so hopefully ill catch a few recognisable faces in the audience.
